Bocce for sport

Today for sport  we did bocce. We did it in groups of 3 or 4.  We did it behind our classroom. Every one enjoyed it.  The balls were  kind  of heavy there was a small white ball that we had to hit  with  the  big  coloured balls. There were red, blue,green and yellow balls. We had to take it in turns  to roll the coloured balls. The white ball had to be three giant steps in front of us.

Drama

3N read a script called "The Gold Fish". After we read it we did some actions and created a performance. Some people made an iMovie using an iPad and a whiteboard while others created props using cardboard and paper. One group made characters out of Lego for the script.

Reading with KH

On Thursdays 3N reads with KH. They choose the book. They read the book first then they choose the book for us to read. After, we read with a different person. It was fun reading to KH. It's been so cool reading with KH with partners.

2D shapes

3N have been learning about 2D shapes.

We have been making 2D shapes with tangrams.

We were making a lot of shapes like triangles rhombuses and squares. The kids were being creative and attempting to make these shapes with different amounts of pieces from the tangram box.

Mr Eagleton has been telling us the notes in
 Ukulele lessons with 3N such as  the A note. Ella
and Ollie knew it straight away.

Wednesday Yoga ball fun in PE

On Wednesdays 3N does activities like bob ball and under-over with yoga balls. 3N made up a game where we had to throw the ball to each other  without dropping the ball. If you dropped the ball you had to throw the ball back one space.

Skipping

We have been doing tricks with skipping ropes, during P.E. on Tuesdays. Partners work together and students do criss-cross tricks. Some students have been doing backwards skipping and normal skipping.

Ukulele lessons with Mr Eagleton

Every Thursday 3N will be doing ukulele lessons with Mr Eagleton.
We learnt the c note. Rayne got up in front of the class and showed everyone how to make a c note. Kayella and Ella-Rose also showed the class how to make a c note.
Some people had to use a left handed Ukulele. Some of them were coloured purple, red and green.
We learnt how to do new things with the ukulele.
