Emma's visit

One day Emma came to our class. She told us what it is like having a stroke. She had to wear an electronic device on her leg to help her walk. Also we got to ask her questions. One person asked her a question like does the other side of your brain work. We learnt a lot from Emma, including what aphasia is. It means you have trouble communicating. Some of the pictures show Emma.

  1. Great work 3N - You are lucky to have had Miss Beasley come to the class and share her story. Sometimes life doesn't always work out the way you plan. Emma has shown amazing reslience and determination to get better and get on with her life.

  2. Dear 3N
Wow! Thank you so much for your letters! They made my day!
I'm glad you learnt about stroke and aphasia. Please tell other people!
I started work last week at the Family Court in Newcastle part-time. I'm really enjoying it so far and excited to be back at work.
I hope to see you again sometime.
    Love
    Emma
